Older Adult Services Coordinator
Carla Pearson is a Licensed Social Worker and is a strong advocate for older adults and their caregivers in Rice and Western Goodhue Counties. She maintains an active caseload of older adults in these counties and is especially passionate about depression awareness and treatment, and problem solving client care issues so the client can safely remain in their home for as long as possible.
Prior to her current position, Carla was a Director of Social Services for fifteen years in Minneapolis and Burnsville. She managed social workers, was an educator and advocate for client rights, served as the discharge planner on a very busy rehabilitation unit, and was highly involved in many client-directed quality improvement committees. Carla completed her bachelor’s of science in social work at Augsburg College where she met her husband, and now resides in Northfield with their three young daughters.
